Our Mission
The Small Wonders Foundation Inc. seeks to equip youth to college young adults to change individual lives, instill hope, increase self-worth, and facilitate independence. Through quality mentoring, employment, and related supportive services, such as youth enrichment scholarships, and educational field trips, we provide multiple levels of community engagement.
Our History
The Small Wonders Foundation is a movement organization dedicated towards promoting health equity throughout Central Arkansas and beyond. In collaboration with schools, churches, and other non-profits, we tackle social determinants of health within under-served communities. Small Wonders enhances and transforms the individual and community lives by promoting and providing health equity, facilitating independence through financial literary, career development and educational awards, and increase self worth through related supportive services and stability.

Our Partners
4H in Partnership with UAPB
4H is one of America's largest youth development organizations, focusing on enriching the Head, Heart, Hands, and Health of youth through experiential learning programs and a positive youth development approach. In partnership with the UAPB School of Agriculture, Fisheries and Human Sciences 1890 Cooperative Extension Program, the Small Wonders Foundation provides youth from various backgrounds opportunities for growth through outreach and community service activities.
Potluck Food Rescue
Potluck seeks to fight food insecurity in Arkansas by redirecting food to organizations to redistribute to the community.
Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance
The Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance works with local and national non-profit organizations to increase access to food in Arkansas in low-income areas. In addition, the alliance advocates for healthy food literacy through programs such as Cooking Matters, which teaches parents and caregivers with limited food budgets to shop for and cook healthy meals.
Toys 4 Tots
Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas.
Arkansas Community Foundation
Arkansas Community Foundation dedicates itself to supporting charitable causes throughout Arkansas financially. Through partnership, individuals and corporations can create endowment funds for the public benefit of the entire state and its communities.
Arkansas Farm to School Initiative
Arkansas Farm to School connects communities with healthy food and local education programs involving school gardens, cooking lessons, and farm field trips. Children and their families are empowered to make informed food choices while strengthening the local economy and contributing to vibrant communities.

Maumelle Branch
The Central Arkansas Library System provides resources and services to help residents reach their full potential, and to inspire discovery, learning, and cultural expression.

Regions Maumelle branch offers a wide range of personal and business banking services including checking and savings accounts, loans, and more.
Arkansas Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster
ARVOAD is a statewide association of independent, voluntary, 501c3 nonprofit, nonpartisan organizations who are active in disaster response. The mission is to deliver disaster relief services to people living in the state of Arkansas who have been affected by disaster.
Ferncliff Sharing the Goods
Ferncliff is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located just ten miles west of Little Rock, Arkansas. We were founded in 1937 as a place for youth and adults to gather and experience creation in community with one another.
Black Community Development and Chamber of Commerce of Arkansas
The Black Community Development and Chamber of Commerce of Arkansas, is a principal advocate and the preeminent leader in fostering economic success for Underserved, Overburden, Socially Disadvantage, Low-to-Moderate Income, Distressed –owned businesses and communities in the State of Arkansas.
Our Programs
Consultation and Business Procurement
The Small Wonders Foundation assists the formation of businesses from LLC to 501(c)3, nonprofit filing for both state and federal. Additional services include grant consultation and other business-related training and funding.
Food Box Program
The Small Wonders Foundation provides food boxes biweekly to under-served families in the Maumelle and Conway area.
Positive Period Project
In collaboration with Maumelle Middle and High School, Small Wonders provides free menstrual hygiene products to hygiene disparities.
Dorm Essential Scholarship
Every year, the Small Wonders Foundation provides the Dorm Essential Scholarship, for graduating seniors. This package includes the bare essentials to help set up dorm life for college freshmen:

Cooking Matters Classes
In collaboration with Cooking Matters, the Small Wonders Foundation educates communities in the Maumelle area on healthy food literacy. By hosting cooking classes and providing culinary equipment and instructional materials, community members can learn how to make conscious health choices with their cuisine, and develop more agency through food health literacy.
Permaculture Development
Small Wonders implements permaculture and Urban Garden Sustainability for BIPOC and under-served communities.
Disaster Relief Case Management
During times of natural disaster, the Small Wonders Foundation connects trained case managers with survivors to restore lives beyond disaster.
